After every lap the iRacing Session Timer tells you how much time is left and warns you with a chime and voice before practice, qualifying or the race ends. Straight into your headset, no need to look at the black box.
Sits quietly in the tray, connects to iRacing on its own and only speaks up when there is something to say.
As soon as you cross the line you hear how much time is left in the session. Below two minutes, in seconds.
Configurable thresholds, 5, 2 and 1 minute by default. Chime plus callout, exactly once per session.
Pick any output device. The callout goes to your headset, not to the living room speakers.
Turn practice, qualifying and race on or off individually. Optionally only announce while you are in the car.
Interface and callouts in both languages, works with any installed Windows voice.
Download, run, done. No installer, no runtime, no account. Optional autostart with Windows.
No config file, no plugins. Everything you need is right in the app.
Put the file anywhere and run it. On first launch, confirm Windows SmartScreen with “Run anyway”.
Choose output device and voice in the settings and check them with “Play callout”.
The tool connects automatically. Callouts start from the first lap, it handles the rest on its own.
Free for personal and commercial use. One file, no installer, no account.

Short and honest.
Yes. The EXE is not signed with an expensive certificate, so SmartScreen shows a warning on first launch. Click “More info” and “Run anyway” to continue. To be sure, compare the SHA-256 checksum of the downloaded file with the one shown here (PowerShell: Get-FileHash .\iRacingSessionTimer-1.0.0-win-x64.exe).
No. Those races have no time limit in iRacing, so the tool sees them as “unlimited” and stays quiet. The same goes for practice sessions without a limit.
No, late alerts are deliberately suppressed so you are not confused by wrong times. The 2- and 1-minute alerts play as usual.
Yes. The tool only reads the telemetry iRacing already provides to all programs and does not interfere with other applications.
No. No telemetry, no usage statistics, no background updates. Settings are stored locally in %APPDATA%\iRacingSessionTimer.
Please email info@pillepalle.pro, ideally with the session type and, if there is one, the error.log from the settings folder.
